Description

A street sign at the left reads, "Cooper St." There is a horse and cart walking down Salem Street. Another horse is visible at the left. There are pedestrians throughout and buildings lining the streets. There are light streaks at the bottom of the negative. Text from negative sleeve: 431. Eastern trip, 1914. Boston. The bridge across the Charles River near Cambridge. It is said Longfellow wrote his poem "On the Bridge at Midnight" after being on this bridge. Couple other Boston scenes. Now unknown. 3 negatives.
