S. W. view of the Whiting-Jose Serrano adobe on Rancho Canada de Los Alisos, 1935. Windows and entrance are visible with wood piled up on the left side of the porch. Don Jose Serrano built the adobe on a "bluff overlooking El Toro Creek and about 1.25 miles north of El Toro." The home was restored by the Whiting family in 1932. The adobe is of a wing-patio type.
