S. E. view of Carpenter adobe in Black Star Canyon on Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, 1936. Small home adjacent to a hill with a doorway and two windows in view as well as the roof with rocks forming part of the bottom front of the house. The house was built partly of adobe brick and partly of rock taken from a stream bed nearby and most likely was built by Francisco Carpenter.
