Description
Image of an advertisement for an auction of shells and marine curiosities for all over the world; image of a nautilus with a poem at top center; advertising text throughout describing inventory of pearls, sea shells, corals, cameos, and other specimens.
Inset image is engraved. Date supplied by cataloger based on company history and date of auction; Errett acquired a one-third interest of his job printing business in 1866, and December 10th in 1866 was a Monday. "Errett & Anderson, print."--text, bottom left margin. "The most extensive assortment of marine curiosities On this Continent Will be exhibited and sold at Public Auction, at Colwell's Shoe Store, Market Street, opposite Reed House, Kittanning, commencing Monday, December 10, at 7 o'clock, P.M., And will continue Tuesday and Wednesday... P. Boyton, Agent."--text, center of image.
