Transcription: "1/4" black gros-grain" written on rendering paper. "These costumes are based on traditional Chinese costumes. Jackets is t-shaped and trousers are baggy. There is a stand collar and there are patches on shoulders (dark grey). There is black gros-grain train. Sleeves are rolled up and are black, as is the lining.Patches on elbows are also dark grey. Drawstring wide trousers have patches on knees in assorted colors. Singers wear black canvas shoesover bare feet.", "4 MALE CHORUS", "PEASANTS "C" ", "ACT 2/2" written on mounting paper.
