Photograph of a night view of Los Angeles International Airport, ca.1961. The airport stretches out at center, and the words "United Air Lines" are illuminated at the side in two areas. Under the light of several bright lamps, one can see the parking lot full of automobiles in neat lines. Two busses are parked to the side of the airport at right, and in front of them is a row of cars. In front of the airport run two roads divided by a small strip lined with palm trees. Behind the air port drop-off point stand several aircrafts, behind which is what appears to be a boarding area. Behind the airport sits the cityscape, dotted with lights but otherwise steeped in darkness.
