Photograph caption dated March 13, 1965 reads "Although Birminghams [sic] High's Scott Mack, shown here attempting to clear the bar, ended up in a tie for second place in the pole vault, he did manage to capture the high jump at 6-2, while Birmingham won the meet, 84 2/3 to 40 1/3 at Reseda."
