Description
Oral history interviews conducted as part of the Hanashi Oral History Archives, Go for Broke National Education Center. Arthur Ito was a prominent figure in the floral industry. He and his wife Aiko owned and operated Flower View Gardens in Hollywood from 1962-2000, a business which served many television and film productions. Ito was the first chairman of the California State Florist Association and a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), Florists' Transworld Delivery Association (FTD), Society of American Florists (SAF), and the American Academy of Floriculture. In 1992, Ito was inducted into the Society of American Florists Hall of Fame.
