At head of title: Department of the Interior, U. S. General Land Office, Hon. Binger Hermann, Commissioner. Included in the islands is "Pine Island, W. I." now Isle of Pines and part of Cuba. Also various acquisitions are shown with dates. Submaps: Territory of Alaska; Philippine Islands; Tutulia Group of the Samoan Islands; Guam or Cuajan Island; The Hawaiian Islands; Pine Island, W. I.; Porto Rico; World map to show possessions. Prime meridian: GM, Washington. Relief: hachures. Graphic Scale: Miles. Projection: Polyconic. Printing Process: Lithography.
