The current (2011) layout of the Bird Rock community in La Jolla, near San Diego, CA does not closely resemble the plan except for a few streets, notably: Turquoise St. in the center and Colima and Loring Sts. on the outer edges. Text box in upper left hand corner reads: A residential subdivision of 88 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean, tributary to the State Highway and served by the San Diego Electric Railway.Topography: In general, the land slopes downward from North to South, with bluff formation above the beach.
