Wearing runner's bib 772 with a North Korean flag patch, marathoner Jong Song Ok streaks by a group of people--three military men, a woman holding a sheaf of grain, a man with a bullhorn. Above them, the emblem of the Korean Workers' Party. Jong won North Korea's first world championship gold medal at the 1999 World Athletics Championships, dedicating it to Kim Jong-il for having inspired her.
