Description
Annotations/Markings: Inscribed and signed "The blood of the lovely concubine dripped on Ma-Wei slope; / Chao-chun, full of resentment, was sent across the border. / How can they compare with this old hag, / Firmly seated on the back of an ox, singing a song of peace. - Poem by Shen Chou, the painting also in his manner, 2nd month of autumn 1813, 70-year-old Beisanjin" followed by two seals starting in upper right corner and filling upper half of painting. One additional seal at lower left corner.
