Photograph caption dated November 6, 1947 reads "Accused of deserting mate and children." Fairbanks is shown with her eyes closed, holding a tissue up to her face. She was from Utah and was held in county jail awaiting authorities from her home state with an arrest warrant. She accused her husband of abuse.
