Description: Image of a broadside advertising the public sale of property seized from Charles Lawton "in the borough of Pottsville," Pennsylvania.
"By virtue of several writs of Venditioni Exponas and Fieri Facias, issued by the Court of Common Pleas of Schuylkill county, and to me directed, will be sold by Public Vendue... All seized and taken in Execution, as the Property of Charles Lawton, and will be sold by John G. Woolison, Sheriff. Sheriff's Office, Orwigsburg, September 9th, 1843."--text, center of image.
