Photograph caption dated June 29, 1965 reads, "Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and pilots wait beside planes prior to trip to Bakersfield yesterday. Scouts -- Michael Schmit, Richard Harkness, Robert Hardman, Van Nuys; Ronald Beck, Robert Ayers, Albert Davis, Reseda, and Craig Munson and Ralph Carpenter, Sepulveda -- won trip by selling most tickets to Scoutcraft Fair. The pilots, from left, are Mal J. Fink, Van Nuys Skyways; Tom Baxter, Norman Larson Co.; John H. Dickenson, airport manager, and Dennis Turner, Pacific Western."
